Tips how to inspire (motivate) a u/17 netball team that needs to play in a final

Hi Riaan%3A By finals time, their's not much more you can teach them other than to support each other and trust each other. You've done the hard yards now reward them with something that reminds them why they love it so much. Fun and friendships! Get them to watch the "Ode to Netball" on youtube as a group. Fantastic advertisment about netball and how inspirational it is. Have some bonding sessions (fun)!! For example , the night before State Age, I told the girls we were having our last big training session. We started out watching a video on netball, then the video cut out and I appeared on the film. I told them they were about to go on a treasure hunt, and I told them their first clue. We all then worked out a further 10 clues together around the area (I had clues and other things hiden all over the place) that lead them to their parents who had set up a good luck dinner. It was heaps of fun and the girls got really excited about their trip away. Good luck in the finals!!

Try to get as many players from your top senior side to come to the U17's last training, and include them in the drills and use them to play a game against. This will show the younger girls that the senior side / rest of the club is supporting them.
